Questions people ask
Anything else goes to PBC Guru at info@pbc.guru.
How much time does it take?
Most picks take about seven hours to read. If you have 15 to 30 minutes a week, you can keep up, and skipping a book is fine.
Do I have to buy the books?
No. The fee covers the forum and quizzes. Borrow the books from your library or buy them.
Will it cover my specialty requirements?
Usually not. The 18 CEUs count toward your general hours. Plan to take ethics and other required topics separately.
Can social workers outside Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin join?
Yes. The forum includes social workers from across the country. Check whether your state accepts NASW-approved CE.
Is any of it in person?
No. It runs entirely online, so you can take part from work, home or the road.
