Who can earn CE here
Our courses are written for social workers. Depending on where you're licensed, counselors, therapists, psychologists and nurses can earn CE from them too.
Social work boards in 46 states accept NASW-approved CE.
Our courses come from the NASW Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin Chapters, part of the national association for the profession. D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands accept NASW CE too.
A few states set conditions. Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas and Kansas accept courses that follow their own board's CE rules, and Nevada accepts live, interactive courses of two hours or more. New York, Oregon and West Virginia don't accept NASW approval.
A few of our courses cover one state's law, such as Illinois sexual harassment prevention. Those carry a green label and won't meet another state's requirements.
Other professions, by state
We're working to get our courses approved for more professions in Missouri and Wisconsin. We'll add them here as approvals come through.

You may still be able to use our courses. Some boards accept NASW courses even in states where we aren't an approved provider, and many let you ask for credit for a single course.
- Look up your board's continuing education rules. Search for terms like "individual course approval" or "non-approved provider."
- Ask before you register. Some boards approve a course ahead of time, and others review it after you finish.
- Send what they ask for. Boards usually want the course description, learning objectives, presenter and CE hours, all of which are on each course page, plus your certificate.
Not sure a course counts for you? Ask your licensing board. They make the call, and they can tell you before you register.
